Generative AI Tools for Digital Content Design and Creation

September 20-24, 2026

Masterclass Overview

In a rapidly shifting media landscape, professionals and organizations need to leverage Artificial Intelligence technology to create impactful digital media content. Generative AI enables producing impactful content faster and more cheaply but with high production standards. This hands-on masterclass introduces participants to low-cost, high quality AI platforms and teaches essential techniques for generating media assets using an ensemble of tools for generating text, images, animation, video, music, and voiceover.

Participants will learn to apply cutting-edge GenAI tools for image generation (Midjourney, Nano Banana, GPT Image), animation and video (Runway, Kling, Seedance), and voice and audio (ElevenLabs, Udio) to streamline their creative processes, unlocking new levels of speed, quality, and cost-efficiency. The masterclass is designed for professionals at every stage of their career, from marketing and communications, to media and entertainment, to education, government, and the corporate sector, anyone who wants to produce high-quality digital content faster and at lower cost. Professor Striker has extensive teaching experience as the leading expert in NU-Q’s undergraduate Digital Media Design sequence and has won numerous international awards for his work. This masterclass focuses on learning best practices for creative workflow using digital design and production tools, from prompt engineering, through iterative prototyping, and ethical considerations.

At the end of the course, participants will have produced an original AI-driven digital media asset they can present, and will be ready for real-world applications in marketing, communications, entertainment, and personal creative endeavors. An Arabic-speaking teaching assistant (TA) will provide support for participants who prefer to consult in Arabic during the hands-on practicum that concludes each day of training.

No prior knowledge of AI, production software, or programming is required.
