Wildcats at Northwestern Qatar can pursue an academic career in journalism and strategic communication or communication. All students are offered a foundation in the liberal arts, which provides a wide variety of courses across many disciplines including philosophy, Middle East studies, anthropology, and literature.
Wildcats have the option to study abroad and use their skills in a professional setting through Journalism and Strategic Communication Residencies. Opportunities also abound for international experiences outside of Qatar that develop students' leadership skills and global awareness.
Experience outside the classroom is an important part of the Northwestern Qatar experience. From sports programs to film clubs students are offered opportunities to explore and expand the skills they are learning in class. Students are also provided a number of services including career services and mental health and wellness services.
