May 05, 2025

In a dazzling tribute to its graduating students, Northwestern University in Qatar illuminated some of Doha’s most prominent landmarks with a public activation campaign celebrating the Class of 2025. The initiative transformed the cityscape into a canvas of pride and accomplishment, spotlighting graduates’ portraits and the university’s values in a vivid display of recognition.

At the heart of the celebration was a towering projection at Al Jaber Towers in Lusail, where a looped showcase of graduate portraits and university values lit up the skyline. The twin tower featured the university’s name and logo alongside a bold congratulatory message, visible across Lusail and parts of central Doha.

“This campaign was truly a labor of love for all of us. It was incredibly moving to see the faces of our graduates—each one representing years of hard work, passion, and growth—lit up across the city. It was an opportunity to celebrate their achievements with our community and let them know how proud we are. Northwestern can’t wait to witness the incredible steps they’ll take in their future careers.”

From May 5–7, the final part of the activation played on the Halo screen, one of Doha’s most visible digital displays. Located along a key downtown artery, the rotating tribute reached thousands of pedestrians and motorists.
