Shahnawaz Zali is the Manager of Integrated Marketing & Digital Content at the Media Majlis Museum, where he leads the development of digital storytelling initiatives that merge media, technology, arts, and culture. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication: Media Industries and Technologies from Northwestern University in Qatar, Class of 2016 and is pursuing Master of Science in Integrated Marketing & Communications from Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism.

Before joining the museum, Zali served as a Senior Creative Media Specialist at Qatar Foundation, where he founded and led a dedicated multimedia and film unit within the organization’s communications division. Under his leadership, the team evolved into a dynamic in-house creative hub, producing original content that elevated Qatar Foundation’s visual and narrative presence across its many entities.

An award-winning filmmaker and storyteller, Zali’s work has received global recognition, including a Student Academy Award nomination for his film Sou Qadam (100 Steps, 2016). His films have been screened and celebrated at festivals across the United States, United Kingdom, Middle East, and South Asia. A Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 honoree in the field of Entertainment and Sports, Zali continues to blend creativity and strategic vision to shape compelling narratives that bridge media, art, and innovation.
