About
Ihsan Yahya has over 16 years of experience in broadcast, broadcast IT and production. He has worked for the BBC as a principal engineer, ITV as a senior system analyst, and BskyB Sky as a senior platform engineer.
Prior to joining NU-Q, Yahya was part of the team that helped design and launch Sky News Arabia and its live video streaming network on iOS, web, Android and at Tunein.com. He also helped with the launch of SkyNews Arabia's 13 foreign bureaus, including Rabat, Istanbul, Riyadh, London and Washington DC.
At NU-Q, Yahya is in charge of the studio's daily technical operation. He is also a consultant for the new NU-Q broadcast facility, currently under construction. He has an HND (Higher National Diploma), BSc (with honors) in electronics engineering and management and he completed studies toward an MSc in data communication systems.
