Syed Mehdi
About
Syed Mehdi is the manager of technical venue operations with the Media Majlis. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University, class of 2017.
Before joining the museum, Mehdi was a data analyst at Jacobs on the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ project with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. He worked with the Host Country Operation Affairs department developing dashboards and applications and researching technological solutions for the operational readiness of the tournament.
Mehdi has also worked as a research assistant at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar on a QNRF-funded grant (NPRP Cycle 9). His research team focused on developing machine learning tools and resources for the Arabic language.
