Rami Al-Badry is a widely experienced television and digital media professional with 18 years of experience as a production and operations manager in leading media organizations in the U.S., U.K., and the Middle East. 

Bringing expertise in news content production and special events production, Al-Badry joins the University from CNN's Washington D.C. office where he oversaw day-to-day field production. His background also includes experience as the newsgathering editor for Middle East News Broadcasting Network after several years in London with the BBC where he coordinated news gathering satellite operations.

He has also worked at Middle East News and the Associated Press in addition to conducting freelance work for ARTE, Reuters, CNN, the National Geographic, and Eurovision, among others.

Al-Badry is a graduate of the University of Baghdad with a BSc and master’s in political science and has completed several training courses at the BBC Academy.
