Curriculum

Gain a critical understanding of the Middle East region’s cultures, histories, societies, politics, intellectual contributions, and mediated representations.

SIX courses

Students pursuing the minor take at least two core courses that offer a broad introduction to the Middle East and familiarize students with key academic themes involved in the study of Middle East societies. Students also can take up to four electives that have Middle East related content.

Senior Portfolio

Students are required to complete a portfolio that provides an overview of their course of study relating to Middle East studies.
