Organizations and professionals need to understand the tools and capabilities now offered by Artificial Intelligence to produce impactful, low-cost digital media content that is useful for distinctive marketing campaigns. This in-depth hands-on Foundational Masterclass provides an introduction to cutting-edge AI tools that include Midjourney, DALL-E 2, Bing Image Creator, Chat GPT, Adobe Firefly, ArtBreeder, Runway, Playground AI, Starry AI, Kaiber, and Canva AI. Designed as a workshop, participants will learn about the tools and how to combine them as an ensemble of powerful creative resources that are available online at affordable costs for individuals and organizations. Participants will produce content using tools that are invaluable for low-cost production of graphic design, illustrations, animations, 3D modeling, and text to video transformation using principles and guidelines in the new skillset of ‘prompt engineering.’ This course will demystify essential terminologies and introduce participants to the most effective tools currently available for digital content ideation, creation, editing, and delivery. The substance will include a look at emerging trends and future prospects in AI-assisted creative production in the next three to five years. Participants will develop and execute an AI-based and produced creative content production keyed to their personal or organizational needs while maximizing efficiency in cost and workflow. Dr. Striker will illustrate with case study examples to provide insights and analyses of strategies that have proven successful and clarify why others fell short.
This masterclass is designed to meet the needs of communication professionals working in organizations (private and public) or as individual entrepreneurs who need to develop a working knowledge and essential skills in the use of concepts, tools and best practices for social media marketing, branding, and communications. The course is taught at the introductory level.
The course meets for 15 hours in total.
The fourth and the final session workshop supports participants in creating a second version of the asset, either as an alternative to the first version or as a follow-up for it. The last hour of the session is devoted to group discussion about lessons learned.

Participants who cancel enrolment can choose to transfer the paid fee to a future masterclass rather than receive a refund. Should the course fees differ, participants will receive a refund on the difference or make an additional ‘top-up’ payment.
