Indee Thotawattage oversees Student Life initiatives at NU-Q with a primary focus on leadership development and social justice education. She manages the biannual Service Learning Experience and leads global learning trips during the Fall and Spring breaks. She organizes outdoor education and environmental sustainability programming throughout the academic year. She also serves as the advisor for the Senior Class Committee.

Thotawattage grew up in the Gulf and holds a bachelor's degree in culture and politics from Georgetown University. She has previously worked in development aid within Sri Lankan civil society. She is actively involved in peacebuilding work through Swiss-based Initiatives of Change International. Since 2015, she has also served as a Team Leader for Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village Program.
