Undergraduate Admissions
By now many of you have heard that we implemented remote classes through at least the spring and summer semesters. Only individuals essential to the University’s ongoing operations can remain physically on site.
The University is still operating and all current students are enrolled in their spring courses.
Since we are not permitted to be on campus, we want to let you know that Admissions is here to serve as a resource for admitted students to explore their new home at Education City, Doha and within the greater Qatar community.
We’re a close-knit family and are keeping in touch with each other every day.
For high school and transfer students interested in pursuing your Northwestern direction next year, we continue to offer the same open and transparent process we always have.
For our admitted students, your offers of acceptance are not in jeopardy. Awarding of advanced and transfer credit continues and the onboarding process will begin in earnest this May after the National College Decision Day (May 1st).
Lastly, we live in an incredibly inspiring time and place. We’re thankful for how proactive the State of Qatar has been throughout the current crisis. Events will continue to evolve, and we will continue to operate with flexibility and understanding in mind. Dates and deadlines could very well change. We should expect them to.
We’re here to make your Northwestern dream a reality and COVID-19 will not change that.
