Hanan Hindi has held academic and administrative leadership roles in secondary and post-secondary settings in the United States and Qatar. Hindi completed her BA in Integrated Language Arts and MA in Educational Leadership-Principalship from The University of Akron and her doctorate from Kent State University in postcolonial literature. She has held a variety of academic positions from a teacher, to program director and university lecturer. In Qatar, Hindi has worked as a director of curriculum as well as head of operations in a local college, offering foundation programs for students pursuing international education. Having worked with key stakeholders in the region, including members from the Ministry of Education, local college counselors, and scholarship providers, Hindi is a subject matter expert on student assessment, retention and academic development of students from the MENA region.
