Keelie Sorel oversees the Student Affairs department including career services, counseling, health, and wellness, student clubs and organizations, new student orientation, leadership programming, communication, and departmental assessment. Sorel manages Student Conduct, serves on the Behavioral Consultation Team, and represents students and the department within Education City.

Originally from Colorado, Sorel holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in higher education from the University of Denver. Before joining NU-Q, Sorel has worked in academic affairs managing living-learning communities focused on bridging curricular and co-curricular engagement opportunities. She also has a background in housing, orientation, and case management serving as a resource for students struggling with academic or personal difficulties. Her teaching experience includes English as a Second Language, Culture, Communication, and Connection, and Social Justice.
