In her role as the manager of student finance, Khatib manages all aspects of student finance including student tuition invoices, accounts receivable, accounting entries, and the creation of payment plans. In addition to her work with student accounts, Khatib serves as the campus coordinator for HBKU Financial Services. She handles and provides assistance and support for students through HBKU’s annual financial aid applications along with Northwestern University’s financial aid and grant system. Furthermore, Khatib serves the Alumni Board as their chair of finance.

Before joining NU-Q, Khatib worked in the finance departments at Georgetown University and Texas A&M in Qatar. Additionally, Khatib owns a coffee shop and café in Ohio. She is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Southern Polytechnic State University where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and master’s degree in accounting, respectively.
