NU-Q students celebrate annual spirit week with Evanston visitors

Evanston students learned about undergraduate experience in Qatar from their "shadow buddies" at events such as an evening dhow cruise.

"Go Wild Week" is a student-organized Northwestern University in Qatar annual spirit occasion.

Filled with a series of activities and events, the week provides community-building opportunities and celebrates student work. This year included Purple Fest, WildQat lunch, Dare Night, dodgeball, Zumba Battle, and the Media and Research Awards event, which drew a total of over 100 attendees.

Students also welcomed visitors from Evanston — a group of 15 experiencing the University’s Qatar campus during their Spring Break and another group of Medill students who spent the week collaborating with NU-Q students on a local story.
