September 04, 2014

Senior Lecturer Susan Dun and NU-Q alumnus Md. Rezwan Al-Islam were recently published as contributing authors in Post-Privacy Culture, a new book exploring privacy in the digital age. Their chapter, “Consuming Media: Bangladeshi Expat Cyberculture in Qatar,” centers on issues of social power in the cyber-democracy.

Dun is also co-editor of a new book, A Digital Janus, with Dennis Moser. The book examines questions of memory, law, politics, death and remembrance, travel, social change, and cross-cultural understandings of what it means to be human in the digital age.
