Student Housing and Residence Halls
For a full immersion into the University college experience, students at Northwestern University in Qatar may apply to live on-campus in Qatar Foundation housing and residence halls.
Rates for accommodation vary each year. Apartments are single-gender shared apartments all fully furnished with living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture; the kitchen is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and an assortment of soft goods; the living room is equipped with a television set. Each residence hall has a shared common room for residents’ entertainment. This room will have cable TV, computers and a telephone with local service.
Qatar Foundation is in the process of building impressive new residence halls, set to open in Fall 2011. State-of-the-art, “green” residence halls will give more students the opportunity to experience the residential college model.
