NU-Q offers a variety of programs, events and activities for students to enrich their university experience, develop and exercise their leadership skills, expose themselves to issues at the forefront of local, regional and world news, and support students in applying skills and concepts learned in the classroom to real world settings.

Student Activities staff works with and inspires students to embrace their roles as important members of the NU-Q community by providing meaningful opportunities to create, inform and connect. Student Activities staff seek to engage students by working with them and supporting them to:

  • Wildcat pride through orientation and social programming

INFORM:

  • Students about the diverse cultures, religions and ethnicities of their colleagues at NU-Q, in Education City and globally
  • Students of opportunities to learn outside of the classroom through educational and/or social programs and activities

CONNECT:

  • With people of other races, classes, ethnicities, religions, and countries and their needs through experiential learning and civic engagement
  • With Northwestern spirit and traditions both in Evanston and Qatar
  • With all members of the NU-Q community to build Wildcats of Excellence
