  1. When will classes begin?
    • NU will start classes in the Fall of 2008.
  2. How many students is NU planning on enrolling for Fall 2008?
    • 20 students in Journalism and 20 in Communication.
  3. What are the minimum test scores for the SAT and ACT?
    • NU does not have minimums—every applicant is evaluated on a variety of criteria.
    • Admissions are competitive: attaining a particular score on a test does NOT guarantee admission.
    • At the Evanston campus, the middle 50 percent of test scores for entering students ranges from 29 to 33 on the ACT; on the SAT Reasoning Test, the critical reading range was 650 to 730 and the math from 660 to 750.
  4. What are NUs minimums for the TOEFL test (NU does not accept the IELTS)?

    • Yes, the degrees (diplomas) are indistinguishable from those granted on the Evanston campus.
