As members of both the Northwestern and Education City community, students in Qatar have access to a wealth of library resources and services. As one of the leading private research libraries in the United States, Northwestern University Library System serves the educational and information needs of its students and faculty as well as scholars around the world
While over 80% of the NU-Q library collection is electronic, we have a fast-growing collection of over 26,000 books, newspapers, magazines and DVDs, including feature films, documentaries and television series in our library.
Our librarians are subject specialists who serve as the primary contacts between the library and academic departments, programs, or groups of scholars sharing special research needs. The Northwestern University library system offers faculty, staff and students numerous specialized services, including discipline specific research consultations, information about scholarly communication topics, library instruction, and general information on library services.
The NU-Q library works in partnership with students, faculty and staff to provide services and resources for learning, teaching and research.
