NU-Q’s New Home

NU-Q currently shares a building with Carnegie Mellon University Qatar. While the space offers all of the facilities and equipment media pros around the world use and all of the resources you would expect of a world-class university, we’re undeniably excited about our permanent home, which has been designed by the highly regarded architect Antoine Predock. The new NU-Q building is targeted to open in 2015.

NU-Q’s new facility is designed to foster informal faculty-student and student-student interactions. It includes multi-media “nodes” equipped with video screens and informal presentation areas. The largest of these areas will be equipped with a video wall students can use to present or view media. The image above depicts a projection of the building's exterior.

  • Multi-media newsroom
